1919
Alfred Tomlinson started trading as A. Tomlinson.
1921
Frank Hall joins Alfred, and the company name changes to A. Tomlinson Hall.
1928
Company moved into premises in Boathouse Lane in Stockton
1940
Company becomes a Reserved Occupation at the request of the local Iron, Steel and Chemical companies and all employees are protected from conscription etc.
1954
Company becomes incorporated as Tomlinson Hall & Co Ltd.
1958
Company buys additional premises in Boathouse Lane
1989
Company bought new premises in Boathouse Lane and moved the store into the new premises
1994
Production starts on our own range of pumps, the Liquivac Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump
2006
Company buys new 1.5-acre premises in Billingham with £1 MILLION investment
2007
Appointed sole uk distributor for Depa and Elro pumps
2015
Becomes the only business of its kind in the north east to secure ISO 9001:2015
2019
Celebrated our 100th Anniversary, which culminated in a visit by HRH, the Duke of Gloucester. Tony Keville receives lifetime achievement award from the PIA / BPMA
2020
During the coronavirus pandemic, we remained operational, providing essential services to hospitals, chemical sites, and the food industry
2025
Tomlinson Hall wins the Distributor of the Year award for a record NINTH time
