WaterAid raised £2,016

Thank you so much for your generous gift of a 1 Litre of Islay Single Malt Whiskey from the Bowmore Distillery, with 2 Rockingham Crystal whiskey tumblers to the Pump Industry Awards 2014, Grand Charity Raffle which raised £2,016, for the work of WaterAid. On behalf of the communities we work with, I’d like to express our sincere gratitude. Your support will make a real difference to some of the world’s poorest people. 

Jhalak Maya Damai lives in Tosramkhola Village in Nepal. She told us “Before we used to spend hours of time to collect water. Now the time is saved and the saved time can be used to complete other household works and I can take care of my daughter very well.”

WaterAid has been able to work with our partner in Tosramkhola to provide a water point and to set up a hygiene education programme. Jhalak told us; "Now our life will be much easier. I felt our living is enhanced a step up and our health will be even better.”
