Stockton-On-Tees Borough Council recognises Tomlinson Hall for its contribution to the local business community

We’re honoured to have been recognised by Stockton-On-Tees Borough Council for our contribution to the life and economy of the area over the last 99 years.

Held at Billingham Forum Theatre on April 4, 2018, this year’s Council Annual Meeting recognised 15 of Stockton-on-Tees’ oldest businesses for their contributions to their local communities.

The companies, which have a combined age of 1,950 years, were commended for their efforts in employing local people and helping to put the Borough on the map.

Our Managing Director, Tony Keville received the 2018 Business award by the outgoing Mayor of Stockton-on-Tees, Councillor Maurice Perry.

Commenting on the award presentation, Tony Keville said: “It’s an honour for us to have been recognised at the Council’s Annual Meeting for our continuous contribution to the economic development of the local community.

“As a business we understand the success of our community depends on all of us working together, and at Tomlinson Hall we seek to work in partnership with our local clients, suppliers and contractors to strengthen the economy of Stockton-On-Tees Borough… and to help put it in the national and international spotlight as a hub for specialist engineering and manufacturing capabilities and innovation.”

The Mayor of Stockton-on-Tees, Councillor Maurice Perry, said: “It was a privilege to present these awards to such a fantastic group of businesses that have worked so hard for so long.

“I know there’ll be a lot of the Borough’s residents who have worked for one or more of the companies at some point in their lives and that goes to show how much of a widespread impact they have had on the Borough across the decades.”
