Tomlinson Hall flies into ACHEMA

Staff from Tomlinson Hall recently returned from the leading show for the pump and process industries - ACHEMA - where we promoted out own Liquivac pump to an international audience.

We were supported in our visit to ACHEMA, which took place in Frankfurt, by Heathrow Airport’s World of Opportunity SME Grants Programme.

In September 2017, Tomlinson Hall was one of the 20 companies across the UK to be awarded funding and a support package designed to help SMEs export their goods and services to new international markets.

The World of Opportunity SME Grants Programme was launched by Heathrow in partnership with the Department for International Trade’s Exporting is GREAT campaign and Plaza Premium Lounges.

Taking place from June 11-15, ACHEMA provided insights on innovations and trends in the chemical engineering and process industries. More than 3,700 exhibitors from 55 countries showcased the latest equipment and innovative processes at the trade show, and the event was attended by around 145,000 delegates.

What’s more, the hospitality, warm welcome and assistance we received from the Heathrow and Plaza Premium Lounges staff on our journey was greatly appreciated by our team. And it was great to meet Sophie Carter from the Heathrow team who provided so much help to Tomlinson Hall throughout the process.

Liquivac is an innovative liquid ring vacuum pump which can handle combinations of liquids, gases and fine solids and can perform a huge range of operations. The vacuum pump can also operate with very long suction lines and accommodate solids of up to 2mm in diameter.
