Tomlinson Hall joins the BPMA

We’re delighted to announce that Tomlinson Hall has become a member of the British Pump Manufacturers’ Association Limited (BPMA), a not for profit trade association representing the interests of UK and Irish suppliers of liquid pumps and pumping equipment. The organisation is a member of the European Association of Pump Manufacturers (Europump).  

The BPMA works with a large number of organisations to influence the pump sector’s business environment in the interests of its members' competitiveness and sustainability.

It also works to increase sector awareness by providing technical support and pump technology training to members, operators and purchasers of pumping equipment.

As well as being a distributor, Tomlinson Hall has a long history of pump manufacturing - from our base in Teesside we designed, developed and have for many years manufactured Liquivac, an innovative liquid ring vacuum pump.

Liquivac pumps can perform a huge range of operations and can handle a combinations of liquids, gases and fine solids. The pumps are widely used by utilities companies, chemical processors, food and drink producers, environmental engineers, desalination plants and sea life centres, and have a proven track record across a wide range of industry sectors.

Speaking of our decision to join the BPMA, Tony Keville, managing director, of Tomlinson Hall, said: “We’ve considered becoming members of the BPMA for a good number of years, but now seems to be the right time for Tomlinson Hall to join its peers.

“We are primarily known in the industry as a pump distributor, however we are also a pump manufacturer in our own right, producing Liquivac, a range of liquid ring vacuum pumps. 

“I feel sure our engagement will help in our continued efforts to deliver the best possible service to both our existing clients and of course to our expanding list of new customers across the domestic and global market place.”
