Tomlinson Hall’s Charity Golf Day Success

The team at Tomlinson Hall would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in this year’s annual Billingham Legacy Foundation Golf Day and contributed to making it another hugely successful day. 

We proudly sponsored and hosted this event for the fourth consecutive year and, once again, we have been blown away by the support the charity day has received, and we are delighted to announce that we exceeded the previous year’s cash total by raising over £2k.

As a Billingham based company, we are very passionate about giving back to the local community. And through supporting events such as this, we are able to help Billingham Legacy Foundation to raise money that will be invested in the surrounding community to benefit local people.

The course was in fantastic condition, despite the continuous rain earlier in the week, Friday’s weather was better than we could’ve expected.  A special thanks to all the teams below who took part – alongside 2 teams from Tomlinson Hall - in the round of golf and who also kindly donated fantastic prizes to the raffle:

A number of companies were unable to enter teams to play on the day, however, did very kindly donate prizes to be auctioned towards the grand total raised.

Thanks to Tracy Chandler from Emirates who donated multiple tickets for the Cricket at Durham CCC, Chris Bibby from Cornerstone Business Solutions for donating an Executive Box Experience at Middlesbrough FC in addition to a signed MFC Shirt, Keith Smith from K- Track Logistics who contributed with spirits and perfume and Bill Scott, Wilton Engineering, for donating a four ball golf day at Wynyard Golf Club. 

Generous direct cash donations to the Charity were also given by guests from Reprotec and T A Ellis.

Last, but by no means least, well done to the winning team on the day – Advance Vehicle Leasing - who played brilliantly to achieve the winning total of 147 points.
