Our Royal Visit – In Photo’s

September was an incredible month for Tomlinson Hall. We celebrated 100 years in business and to commemorate such an incredible accomplishment, were rewarded with a Royal Visit by HRH, The Duke of Gloucester KG GCVO.

We wanted to share with you a snapshot of the visit in photos:

On arrival, HRH was greeted by pupils from Tomlinson Hall’s supported school for - Billingham South Community Primary - before meeting local dignitaries and our directors led by MD and third-generation Tomlinson, Tony Keville.

Mrs Snowdon presented to HRH: Cllr Lynn Hall, the Mayor of Stockton Borough Council, and from Tomlinson Hall;
Mr Tony Keville, Managing Director, Mr Colin Simpson, Business Development Director, and Mr Marc Dale, Sales Director.

On arrival into our reception area, HRH was shown a visual representation of the company’s heritage and history in Teesside.

HRH received a live demonstration from Tony and Michael, our Workshop Manager of Tomlinson Hall’s own brand and solely manufactured British Pump, the Liquivac.

As part of his visit, HRH met members of the Tomlinson Hall team and received a tour of our 1.5-acre office and workshop sites.

HRH completed his visit by unveiling a commemorative plaque to mark our centenary milestone.

Recalling on a significant day, our Business Development Director, Colin Simpson, said: “We were delighted and honoured to welcome HRH, The Duke of Gloucester to our premises and to celebrate our 100th year in business.

“Our 100 successful years in business, reflects the continued commitment and loyalty of our workforce who have played an enormous part in making Tomlinson Hall the successful business it is today.”

Following on from the visit, Tomlinson Hall held a small ceremony to present long service awards to several members of the workforce.
