Congratulations Shirley Simpson on Your Retirement

We would like to take this opportunity to wish Shirley Simpson - who has been with Tomlinson Hall for over 27 years - the very best as she steps into her retirement.

Having only very recently been shortlisted for an inspiring female award at the North East England Chamber Business Awards, Shirley has played an integral role in growing and shaping Tomlinson Hall to the business that it is today.

Starting her career as Head Receptionist, Shirley’s dedication and commitment, to not only her role within Tomlinson Hall but also to the team around her, has seen her work her way up through the business to hold the position of Export Manager for the last seven years.  Shirley has built this role - and the team within it - to a far bigger function than ever expected and has held full responsibility for two of the company’s biggest pump brands on a global scale; DEPA and ELRO. 

Holding the relationship with these brands for a number of years, Shirley has become the key point of contact for both and is highly regarded by her peers both within these businesses and outside as a figure of knowledge coupled with complete efficiency. 

We would like to take this opportunity to give a huge thank you to Shirley for all of her hard work and commitment and we look forward to the Business Awards where we hope Shirley will receive well-deserved recognition.

We hope she enjoys her very deserved retirement years spending time with family and friends.
