Tomlinson Hall supports "The Orphans of Uganda"
March 12th 2007
Lee Dale the Liquivac Product Manager at Tomlinson Hall, will be visiting Uganda for 2 weeks during the Easter Holidays to work in two schools and an orphanage with a group of volunteers. Tomlinson Hall are supporting Lee during his visit and hope others can get involved.
They are using football as the tool to relate to the youngsters as the young africans are football crazy. Football shirts have been collected from schools and clubs here in the UK and by kind donation, the aim is to distribute the shirts to the schools and orphans in Uganda.
There are in excess of 1.8 million orphans in Uganda mostly due to parents dying from Aids. Assisting these young boys and girls in whatever way they can is their primary mission during the visit.
If you feel you can help in any way, whether it be by donating a 'Football Shirt' of some kind then please contact Lee Dale on 07736 498840 or email here.
Following on from our Royal Visit earlier in the year, we were so impressed by the contribution made by Members of the Cleveland Police Dog team, that we engaged with them further to show our appreciation.
